At Restaurant Les Beaux Jeudis (above Thursday's on Rue Crescent)

Brian's Birthday!

(Earlier known as the IETF66 Social Event...)

Brian's shot - before and after

At Chez Brandy

Just Bernie.

Things suddenly took a turn for the worse toward the end of the evening...
(Ha ha, only kidding Chris!)

McGill University and Victoria Hospital, I believe.

Atop Mont Royal

Ah, resting from the climb under a maple tree.
(Hey, it was 30 degrees celcius and 90 some percent humidity.)

A woodchuck, er somethin'.

The best new beer I tried on this trip: Boreale Rousse.

Rue Crescent. Check out Brutopia, Hurley's (darts!) and Caroline at Claddagh.

Inline skating along the Lachine Canal

I tried to meet up with the Roller-Montreal group skate on thursday evening, but no one showed at the Rue Mill bridge.
Perhaps it was too warm.

Karen's birthday!

With the gang at Restaurant l'academie...

somehow this photo, with visitors from the next table, makes it seem like my birthday ;-)

Poutine!

Poutine, Quebec's junk food: cheese curds on fries, covered in gravy.

Geeks in the park!

Anything else?

If you don't mind dropping a chunk of change for a good meal, check out La Queue de Cheval.
They had a $325 appetizer of cold seafood to serve 4-6. We didn't order that. ;-)
Before dinner I had a nice aperitif: Kir Royale. It's one part creme de cassis to five parts sparkling white wine or champagne gently poured on top.
