Subject: Duplicate Outbound Flows

Hello,
I have recently installed flowscan and everything works fine, except that I
am getting duplicate outbound flows in the reports. Below is how my network
is configured. I am only getting duplicate flows going to UpStreamB.
UpStreamA UpStreamB
| |
CiscoA ---------- CiscoB ---- Wan Customers
| |
Switch --------------|
|
Customers
All non local traffic is initially routed from the switch to CiscoA which
then either routes it out to UpStreamA or to CiscoB. I have it set up this
way in case CiscoA fails then the switch will change it's default route to
CiscoB. I have NetFlow enabled on all 6 of the Cisco interfaces.
I have Campus.cf configured with the NextHops of my UpStream providers and
LocalNextHops with the 4 IP address on the Cisco interfaces not to an
upstream provider. I turned verbose to 2 in the cf files and got messages
stating 'Skipping "inbound" candidate flow messages'. However, these
messages are only for flows destined for the local subnets that I have
defined and no messages involving outbound traffic subnets.
I was wondering if there is a workaround for the above other than turning
NetFlow off on the internal interfaces of CiscoB or if there was something
that I could change in the configuration.
Any help would be appreciated.
Alvin Garrison
