Hi Dave

Thanks for your support and help... now i able to run cflowd successfully, now it is also creating all the files like 10.1.0.1.flows.0 etc at /usr/local/arts/data/cflowd/flows directory. It is also creating arts.20020420 file at /usr/local/arts/data/cflowd/10.1.0.1 directory (where 10.1.0.1 is the host ip address defined in CISCOEXPORTER stanza). But problem is when i try to view the contents of the files, they seem empty.

# pwd
/usr/local/arts/data/cflowd/10.1.0.1
# ls
arts.20020420
# file arts.20020420
arts.20020420:  empty file
#

there is no data in all the file at /usr/local/arts/data/cflowd/flows directory( 10.1.0.1.flows.0 etc).

i have make sure that cflow is receving data from router through this command

# ps -ef | grep cf
    root  1016   452  0 10:37:21 pts/1    0:00 grep cf
    root   909     1  0 09:10:56 pts/3    0:00 ./cflowdmux
    root   926     1  0 09:12:27 pts/3    0:10 ./cfdcollect /usr/local/arts/etc/
cfdcollect.conf
    root   922     1  0 09:11:46 pts/3    0:00 ./cflowd
#
#tuss -vall -p 926

I can see data is been received at defined path.

Can you please help me out ... thanks once again

regards

amin
