Be sure you're running the patched cflowd.  Test it like this:

   $ strings /usr/local/sbin/cflowd |grep usage            
   usage cflowd [ -s logtimeout_seconds [ -O skip_output_if [-m] ] ]

If you didn't get that usage string it's not patched.
